Google unveiled a new logo for its core search services on Tuesday . This change came just after a month of majorly restructuring its company, by putting its many divisions under an umbrella company called Alphabet .
" The New logo is meant to reflect the new ways people visit Google " , it said in a blog post.
After 16 years , search giant google has updated its logo , attributing it to the change in ' People 's interaction with its products' .
The new logo looks more modern and playful retaining the same old Google colors.
It has moved to a new sans - serif font and has done away with small blue 'g' icon replacing it will a four color " G " .
As for the mobile search pages , Google says it's also making some changes.
